General Preservation Features
Trendlife® Modified Atmosphere Packages (MAP) first effect on eggplant physiology is achieved by affecting vegetable metabolism during storage and reducing respiration intensity.
Since eggplant is cold-sensitive, storage temperature of 10-12°C is recommended. Chilling injury symptoms (pitting, browning) may occur below 7°C.
When appropriate conditions are provided with Trendlife® MAP, the shelf life of eggplant is significantly extended and export quality is preserved.
